“Anybody can become angry – that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way – that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.”
Aristotle
I went to bed feeling sad for the first time in ages. There is so much anger, fear, outright hatred and intolerance in our society.. People are calling for all kinds of actions that will harm all of us in the long run. I support individual freedom, of course, but people without medical credentials giving advice that may lead to the deaths of others is short-sighted and betrays a lack of concern I cannot fathom. I hope no one has to learn a hard lesson by contributing to the death of another, perhaps someone in your own family.
And here is a little history lesson for those who do not think this flu is serious enough to warrant limiting your rights and behaviours for others who may not be so hale and hearty. Being 61, I am especially comforted by those who point out, incorrectly, that Covid simply weeds out the aged and infirm. Thanks…love you too.
